The Solverde Poker Season is Portugal's first and longest running poker circuit, created in 2006 by the Solverde casino group and played only in its own casinos. Each numbered 'Etapa' is a short festival opened by a lower buy-in Kickoff, and the season ends with a higher buy-in SPS Main Event at Casino Espinho in December. Chip leaders and bubble finishers receive entries to the next stage from an 'Xtrastack' fund, and a season ranking is kept. A national tour: every stop on record is played in Portugal — Espinho, Chaves, Vilamoura and Portimão. We have 23 stops on record across 3 seasons — about 8 a year. It runs from February to December.
